Here are today's Neverwinter Nights 2 forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

    Better Encounters
The encounter system has been made more flexible, so it's easier to control what and how many creatures spawn. [IMG] That being said, in spite of the improvements I'm sure there are still scenarios where it can't do exactly what you want -- in which case the encounter would have to be set up through script.

    "Z-Axis" Placeable Rotation
CID is right... in NWN1, you could already rotate stuff about the "Z" axis, but not around the X or Y. In the NWN (and NWN2) game engine, the positive Z axis is "up", but such labels are completely arbitrary. "Up" could just as easily be the Y axis, or the X axis, or the J axis, or the peanut-butter-and-jelly axis. There is no real standard. But to answer the original question... the magic 8-ball says "outlook good".Edit... But let me actually qualify that a bit and say that you will probably be able to freely rotate *some* placeables, but not all. This is because of some technical reasons that I'm not at liberty to discuss at this time. ;)
