    Here are today's Neverwinter Nights 2 forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context.     What programs do the devs use?
    For 3D models, we use MAX. For 2D textures 'n stuff I believe its all mostly done with Z-Brush and Photoshop. I think you'd find this is a pretty common setup throughout the industry although Maya is also very common for 3d modelling. Its probably pretty close to 50/50 for MAX vs Maya use.

    Now is not the time to buy ATI cards, wait untill the new R520 ships then all those x8** will be cheaper.Plus : Not a single Radeon card support pixel shader 3.0 yet, which means more work for the GPU and a lesser framerate.
    Exactly. If you're going to buy a new card just for this game, then I would wait until the very last minute and take your pick from the best of what's available at that time in your price range.If you're looking for eye candy and performance, then shader model 3.0 will be your friend.
