Here are today's Neverwinter Nights forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

    Automatic scaling
No. Keith Hayward developed the Combat Scaling system specifically for Pirates of the Sword Coast. We are making further modifications to the system for use in some (although perhaps not all) future premium mods. We'll decide whether or not to use it on a case by case basis.

Epic premium modules, or "is there life after HOTU"?
Not for a while yet. We have various mods in development right now, both internally and with some external teams, and they're all in a neck-and-neck race to see who'll be the first to finish. Their order of completion will have a substantial impact on the timing of their release. As an example, however, the Pirates module wasn't formally announced until about a week before release so we do have a history of holding our cards close to the chest.

Credit Card? Another way of paying?
    According to the Store FAQ:
Quote: (/i)1.05: What payment options does the BioWare Online Store offer?(/i) We accept only Visa and MasterCard transactions only. Regarding Visa and MasterCard Debit Cards: The BioWare Store will accept most Visa and MasterCard Debit Cards that have been issued by a financial institution, but bear no special branding. Thusly, we cannot accept Visa Electron and Mastercard Maestro debit cards which are a specific “brand” of debit card. If your debit card is declined, it is likely that we cannot accept it.
    Emphasis mine.
