    Diamond Kingmaker "expansion"?!

    It is important to note that the developer does not decide the packaging, naming, bundling, etc. of our games. That is up to the publisher's discretion. They tell us that they are no longer manufacturing the Platinum Edition and want to do the Diamond Edition, which is the Platinum Edition plus Kingmaker, and we are happy to accomodate them. As long as people still want to buy NWN, we are happy to help get the product out to them.

    More: When we heard about Diamond, we played around with some future name ideas here.

    I'm sure hoping one of those Premium mods is EPIC this time. . . thats been whats holding me back from buying one. :) I've all tired out of the low-level stuff. Can ya give us a little teaser about whether this is the case or not? Pretty please? :good:
    Maaaayyyyyyyybe, maaaayyyyyyybeeeeee not. But I think you'll like this one. It's super-neato and promises hours of wholesome family entertainment... for the whole family, no less (even great-grandma, if she's into RPGs)!

    but you'll have to check out the Premium NWN Modules forum for more details (whenever Rob Bartel decides to release more info, that big poopy). :D

    But where do you go from there?

    To Gularis: as Derek French said, our marketing people had very little, if anything, to do with the naming of the SKU or with the box copy. That is the job of hte publisher, so if you really want/need someone to complain to about it, then you should be directing your comments to Atari.

    My point was that I can accept that wording because, even though I know the generally accepted difference between "expansion" and "module," the mass market would still accept it as an "expansion" because it expands on the original NWN game. I hope that clarifies my comments for you.
