    Here are today's Neverwinter Nights forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context.     Floats Don't Work
    As said before, floats are not doubles.

    For those who never had or skipped the first year computer science:

    So why floats?

    Try to come up with a problem in NWN that requires absolute precision. If you happen to find one, ask the question whether or not your problem

    a) can be solved with integer math
    b) NWN is the right platform for your problem (i.e. is NWN designed for that kind of system)

    After two expansion packs and countless of other modules, I can say that I have yet to see a problem that can survive both questions.

    NPC Mages having IGMS war
    You can make your script self calling

    copy what is in

    void main()
    {
    ... contents of void main...
    }

    into a function above void main, so your script looks like this

    function doit()
    {
    ... old contents of void main ...

    DelayCommand(6.0f,doit());
    }

    void main()
    {
    doit();
    }


    Doesn't work indefinitly (i.e. your mages will run out of spells soon, so make sure to have a few igms on them memorized)

    More:
    hmmmm is there a way to make them rest after they run out of spells? also i was thinking if they continuuly cast IGMS over and over that would lag the server, so maybe putting a on and off trigger in the area would be good too maybe a OnExit trigger of some sort, thanks for the ideas so far though. :D
