    03 Nov 2004 - Neverwinter Nights: Witch's Wake Remastered Sub-Races
    Yes, the Remastered version of Witch's Wake uses a hide-based system. Rather than dynamically editing the hides themselves (which is how Georg's previously released subrace system worked, if I remember correctly), I just created a distinct hide item for each subrace. As for releasing these subraces or the underlying to the public, if there's sufficient demand for it, I don't see why not. All the information you really need to reproduce it, however, can be found in today's update to the the site (with the exception of the tracking skill, which is custom-scripted and tied to a specific item I place in your inventory).

    I will mention, however, that not all subraces will translate well outside of the Witch's Wake setting. In modules that are more reliant on healing potions rather than healing kits, for instance, the Half Orc Sojourner's resistance to Cure spells may become a much larger impediment than it is here. Worth considering

    Just to let you guys know...
    I just had a window pop open on my screen asking for Login name and Password. This claims to be from Bioware asking for authentication. I didn't give any info and closed the window with "alt+F4" but you might want ot take note of it.
    Thanks for posting this Jassper - hopefully we can track down the cause with some more information. If you (or anyone else) sees this same behavior, please take a screenshot and note the address of the page that you were on when it happened, and the page you came from.
