    Premium Modules
Actually to specify what is being said the 1.65 patch, released soon after the launch of the BioWare Online Store and Premium Neverwinter Nights Modules, will allow Mac and Linux gamers to enjoy the same great gameplay as their Windows counterparts. We're dedicated to supporting the Mac and Linux Neverwinter Nights communities, and we're working diligently to address their needs as soon as possible.

    Moo moo-moo, moo moomoomoo. Moo?
Cows attack you with Halberds? I thought they usually used spears. :)

    How much like publishing . . .
Publishing is a very complicated business and it involves a lot of resources and infrastructure that we simply don't have (manufacturing plants, warehousing, direct relationships with retailers, and so forth). I'm a 'never say never' guy, of course, but I'd definitely be surprised to see BioWare moving in the direction of becoming a traditional publisher anytime in the foreseeable future.

That said, in some of the interviews that Ray & Greg (the guys who own and run BioWare, for the uninitiated) gave immediately after we announced our online store, they did extend an invitation to other developers. We have a large, excited, engaged community of RPG enthusiasts here (i.e. you) and it's certainly understandable that developers of similar titles may have an interest in being a part of that. For some, it may be a question of them already having had a traditional publishing run and now they're looking for a means to extend the life of their title or reach a slightly different market. For others, it may be a case of having a great title but trouble finding a traditional publisher (this can be a case with a lot of excellent European titles).

I don't know how many external titles we may attract and I don't know how large the potential market for our online store truly is. Maybe there's value there, maybe there's not. These premium modules will be one step towards determining that. More importantly, though, these modules are about extending the life of Neverwinter Nights and developing a revenue stream for the Live Team so that we can continue to support you, the community. Definitely an interesting question,

    Module updates?
Georg is correct. Part of the 'premium' in a premium module is a promise of post-product support. I don't foresee us making a habit of remastering these modules to the extent that we have for Witch's Wake, by any means, but they will definitely not be abandonware. Thanks for asking

    Neverwinter Nights: Witch's Wake
I have a sneaking suspicion I'm going to regret saying that, someday... :shake:

But yes, that's how it's currently laid out,

    Gah! Still 8 days...

By the way is it any co-incidence that the launch is on a BioWare Wednesday?
    :good:

    Ahhhh!!!! Percentage Immunities!

How about flat-rate immunities that scale up with level? Something like Barbarian DR.
They are flat, which makes sense considering they are abilities tied to the race (i.e. born with them).

Spetznaz's Character Editor - Administrators thoughts?

There is nothing wrong with wanting to control what happens on our own servers.
Players who don't like the rules on a particular server have the right not to play there. The server admin owns the server and the bandwith, so there is nothing wrong with them exercising total control - the players can vote with absense if they don't like that.

    New game online
Not sure if this is related to the problem you are having or not. If you are running the dedicated server, I believe that you can't change the game room type after you've started the server. So what ever game room type nwserver defaults to when you launch it will be the game room that the server show up in (typically Action unless its been changed by you). I can't remember off the top of my head how it works if you are hosting a multiplayer game from within the game itself.
