    Premium Modules Released on CD!

we get "ripped off" for games in australia in general.

The average A level game costs $90 AUD.

that's one reason digital distribution rocks... I bought half life 2 via steam, got the second best package and saved like $25 over the store price of the basic version...

if you could offer DA via the online store, that'll rock ;)
Ouch, that's harsh. I wonder if Australia has any local game fabrication plants (ie where the CDs get burnt, boxed, etc) or if everything has to be physically shipped from plants in Asia/Europe/North America. The Cdn and Aus dollars tend to be more or less on par vs the USD but there's clearly a marked difference in traditional retail game prices.

    NWN Online playabillity.

    Number of players.
This is dependent on the individual server, but the system supports up to 64 simultaneous players.

    Quote: Length of games.
This is again dependent on the individual server, as community-created modules can be short, tiny hack and slash modules of an hour long up to multi-module epic tales that take months to play from start to finish. Then there are the persistent worlds which are active all the time and work much the same way as MMORPGs do (without the monthly subscription fee, of course).

    Quote: Types of games.
Take a gander at the Neverwinter Vault(/quote-incomplete) and you'll find games of every size, shape, description, and even genre. There's straight hack and slash, powergaming, role-playing, mystery, sci-fi, modern, humour, adult, and much more besides!

    Quote: Things like that.

I'm very interested in expanding into online play, are there any groups out there that are into NWN and that i could possibly join?

    Thanks for any replies.

    Bannik.
Like someone else said, groups of like-minded NWN players can form Guilds, which can be administered through the BioWare online community. Check out the NWN Guild Registry for more details. Enjoy!
