    Amazon listing 'Neverwinter Nights Kingmaker Expansion Pack'
    So, my question now is: would any money paid for this expansion benefit to Bioware LiveTeam and the development of future Premium modules?I've been waiting many months for a un-connected option to play these modules, and thus support the efforts provided by Bioware to keep this game alive 3 years after its initial release. I would prefer to buy them through DD, but the need for online authentification prevents it :evil:
    BioWare does receive royalties from the sale of the physical version but not as much as we do from the digital versions. As Atari plays a larger role in the creation, marketing and distribution of the physical version, they rightfully get a correspondingly bigger cut of the pie. The retailers also take their portion and there is also the raw material cost for the boxes, CDs, manuals, etc.In other words, we encourage our community to purchase whichever version makes the most sense for them as a gamer. BioWare receives benefit from both versions.Hope that helps,
