I have yet to install NWN2 Gold; however, I have read through the manual and I am very intrigued by the Favored Soul class; what prestige class special abilities/skills ehance or improve upon the abilities of the Favored Soul class?

War priest does, if you want a spectacular spellcaster.

A combo of Favoured Soul, 3 levels of Paladin and a couple of Divine Champion and/or perhaps NWN9 ought to result in a more hands-on-char with spectacular saving throws and decent spellcasting. You'd max out the utilisation of your charisma, too. I feel, while such a char is great, with all the spellcasters at hand in the expansion, there is a somewhat limited utility in playing such a char. But it sure might be a lot of fun ;)

I was thinking about playing a Drow Favoured Soul of Tyr with 5-10 levels off Divine Champion

Inside this link are a couple of solid builds including the Favored Soul, too.

But if Obsidian didn't fix it recently the FS is flawed, as he should use Wisdom as DC for his spells and Charisma for how many addidional uses of spells he gets, iirc.
As of now he use only Charisma for all purposes which makes him a bit overpowered.

So, what you are saying for the build I am considering it would be foolish of me to increase Wis beyond 10? I thought that bug was fixed with the most recent patch, but if not thanks for the tip.
