    [​IMG] If you start a new game in ToB can you still have romances? Let's say I import a character will they start up or do I have to play through SoA first? Just a wonderin'!

    You have to play threw SoA thirst. And you have to get at least halfway threw it to let it continue in ToB iirc.

    If you import a save game from SoA and you have a romance in that one it will continue, you only can't have romances when you start a new game in ToB.

    Yeah, I restarted my game just so I could get some romances. Oh, and because the novelty of being a wild mage was wearing off(I haven't really noticed any effects beneficial enough to make up for the occasional catastrophic miscast that gets me killed).

    what if you complete the aerie romance and she leaves in SoA and you get her back in ToB will it start back up or will it just not happen?

    I don't have Throne of Bhaal jet, but I take it that you mean you bring her back to you in your new stronghold. It doesn't seem very likely that the romance will continue then, but I can be wrong.

    From what I can see, if a romance in SOA ends with a character leaving, that romance doesn't renew or restart when you play TOB. In one of my SOA games, the romance with Viconia ended happily with her leaving, and when I started the TOB game and brought her back in the party, it was just as if she was never in the party to begin with. But I may just be stupid or have done something wrong.

    You can't sleep with Aerie or with Phaere if you want her romance to continue. If she left, the romance was probably terminated at that point.
