New year vows

So, are you gonna give a vow?
I am not sure if I will. I have nothing to promise, and I am so bad at promising stuff anyways.
My friends usually go with the "I promise not to eat any candy this year" and they'll get 1000 crowns. They always fail.
So, will you promise anything or do you know any strange promises your friends, family will give?

 

I'm going to lose 4 stone and join weight watchers

 

I promise that I'll stop fancying Sean Bean and hating Arwen/Liv Tyler. Also I promise, that I will fancy Orlando Bloom. Nah, it would be too hard. Actually I promise that I study better.

I vow never to feed an elk fermented apples. Yep.

 

I am continuing my absolute ban of fast food, and giving up women.

 

I dunno why I even try. I never stick to the things. Anyways, I vow to lose some extra pounds and to try to get published.

@Ezellohar Why do you hate Liv Tyler as Arywn? I mean, sure, her part was heavily expanded due to the "every epic movie must have a love interest" theory, but I thought she did okay.

 

I vow to stop caring so much about having a boyfriend. And I vow to stop hating Jennifer Lopez quite so vocally...

 

@Darkgoddess she can´t have it that Arwen really had sex or sumthing like that with Aragorn.. heh, kids these days

I´m not sure about having vows myself, since I take them by the heart and will do anything to complete them (this sentence may sound like complete rubbish, but this time I´m not drunk , it´s just my screwed up engrish)

 

I promise to cut down on the violence in the stuff I write and put in more fluffy bunnys...yeah right. (...the swordsman put down his blades and...kicked the rabbit's head clean off, resulting in a shower of gore...)

I vow to be patriotic and loyal and steadfast in my pride in my nationality. To defend the constituition and security of Singapore with my life...another yeah right.

I vow to see the brighter side of life in all things and maintain a positive attitude all the time. Also, I shall dedicate a huge portion of my existence to the spreading of love and peace throughout the world...the hell I will.

I vow to get a girlfriend... or at least treat the opposite sex differently from men, with casual insults and cruelty and at least some attempt at socialising...nah...porn will do.

I vow to stop reading fantasy novels...gasp...argh..death approaches...must retract vow...

Happy new year folks. Let it be as bloody as the last two.

 

I will survive my first semester at a university and try to maintain the 3.5 GPA I had from that piece of **** community college I went too.

 

I will regain my 3.9 GPA that I lost my last year.
