[IMG] My offensive nature has given itself some time to debate the following. An insight or eye-gorer, you make the decision.

Using Baldur's Gate Two examples, I think I will say that Helm has the best act of defending me from any oncoming slaughterists. Of course, I'm a smart man so I realize that worshiping Helm will only result in having people to be protected from, so I think I'll move on, there. CHURCH is what I'm looking for. Not truth.

I don't really care that much about the truth, just the benefits involved with what people really think truth IS, so I'll scourge my way and hack some roots, drink the water, and find the most comforting church I can. I really want the best for my children. I've heard that the Talons chain theirs to the wall and skin their forearms. Well, that sounds RIGHT HOLY, so I think I'll just squeeze on into this crowd. No one will mind. Let's hold hands.

Eww! You are all greasy! Maybe I'll just edge over here to another church!

You know, I think I'm seeing a pattern here. I want to hold my brain to the light of the high powers, but I can't seem to get a hold. Somehow by holding my brain to the light of the gods I shadow someone else. Maybe I oughtta stop. Well, no, it can't hurt THAT much, because while I'm benefiting, they're hurting, and that's a balance, right? That IS what I believe, right?

Oh, geez, it's time for worship. I'm so sick of this. A bunch of slack-jawed morons gathering around an ancient altar of a god who doesn't care anymore. But what's worse: Nobody WANTS to go.

My life is just fine, but my ATTENTION span is truly endangering itself. I don't think I'll get any insults if I keep worshiping...

...but otherwise, look at the following:

Well, I don't think you find much protection from the rest of the world in a church. Nowadays, you are considered as weak as you seek protection in a church for then you are not able to protect yourself. Going to a church is not for protection but for God, don't care too much about protection, but go there for God and then he will protect you.
