Nishruu and Hakeashar edibles

Does anyone know if there's a comprehensive list of items that Nishruu and Hakeashar destroy? I hate having to search through my characters' inventories to check for missing items. I'd rather drop such items before combat so I don't have to worry about this afterwards.

If not, then I guess we could start a list right here...

 

The Nishruu and Hakeashar don't take items? , but they make spellcasters loose some memorized spells. Not permanently, just for the day as if you've already casted it.

 

They do drain items with charges and destroy those with limited charges.
If your Wand of Cloudkill has only one charge left and a Nishruu/Hakaeshar gets its tendrils on it, that wand will be no more.

So, that would include all of the wands.
There is also that red cloak - the Cloak of Shielding? - and other suchs things.

 

Can they destroy weapons and armour with enchantments? Or weaken those enchantments?

 

I'm pretty sure one destroyed my bracers AC 4 in the underdark. At least it wasn't there anymore after the fight.

 

Man, I had no idea they could destroy weapons . Guess I've been lucky..

 

These creatures dont destroy weapons, armour, helmets, bracers. In fact they dont destroy items with a permament enchantment on it.

They go after memorized spells and charged equipment. Ye know, like wands.

If they also drain items with a charge per day (like the Silver Horn, Ring of Ram) I dont know for sure.

 

I know for a fact they destroy belts too. I lost both the Golden Girdle and the Belt of Inertial Barrier before.

I've never had them destroy other weapons or armour that you guys mentioned, but now I'm starting to worry!

I've also had one steal my mages cloak.

Not chuffed I wasn't.

 

I had one steal Celestial Fury once.

 

Now I know where all my missing gear went!

 

I had one in the underdark destroy my mage's Robe of the Good Archmagi, which I'd bought for 25000 gp, and my only save was too far back to want to do everything over again. That really stunk.

 

So, they *do* destroy weapons and equipment other than wand?!

Well, I stand corrected.

That would explain why Korgans axe (I think it was Stonefire) was suddenly missed during one game back then.
I always assumed the little runt dropped it, somewhere, somehow...

 

I have never had them destroy completely anything but mage items. Cloaks, robed, wands, but never anything metal. Even celestial fury was never destroyed. Bug?

 

I had the one that is summoned by those bastards in the Underdark steal the Staff of Magi, but I got it back I killed him.

 

They have stolen my party's magical items, spells and even scrolls. Whenever I encounter one of these I use missile weapons and Melf's minute meteors, which seem to affect them anyway, until I kill them. They're nasty as hell!.

 

I just took the cowards way out. I ran away until their summon period was over. Then I'd kill the mage with extreme predjudice.
