No more Black Isle D&D games?

    "What does that mean? It means that Interplay's Black Isle Studios is unlikely to be able to make any more D&D games after the terms of its current licence expire. Infogrames could licence other developers to make D&D games, and since BioWare Corp recently announced a publishing deal with LucasArts and therefore is no longer obligated to work exclusively with Interplay it presumably could enter into an agreement with Infogrames, but that's just speculation. But since Interplay is a competitor publisher, Infogrames is extremely unlikely to permit Black Isle to publish additional D&D games, in spite of the success that the company has recently experienced with the licence."
