    I use Microbrewery 5.0.

It gives you the estimated mass of hopps and sugar to add, along with yeast, for different temperatures and humidities. It gives you attributes of the ferment based on a 0-100 score. Color, bitterness, carbonation. Everything.

It's totally right on, too. I actually made a copy for my uncle. But he also basically gave me my hunting license, so it was like, a good barter.

    Bartering rules.

Chatting with friends: Icq, nothing else.
Downloading: Kazaa Lite, Direct Connect if I really need to get my hands on something rare.
    Download agent: Getright.
Image editing: I don't really edit, but I do have a copy of photoshop lying around..
    Zipped files: Winzip.
    FTP uploading: Cuteftp.

Oh, and I use N-track to record my little song ideas, as a sort of sketch.. and then if I'm actually being serious about recording something, I usually go with Cakewalk.

    I use:
    Word Processing: Word 2000 (professional)
    Web Browsing: Internet Explorer 5.5
Chat: AIM (screen name: ManInTheShack - say hi if you're on!)
    Downloading: KaZaA
Download Agent: None. I tried GetRight though
    Image Editing: MS Paint
    Zipped Files: WinZip
FTP Uploading: None, although my cousin has CuteFTP installed on my comp

    Let me add this:
CD Ripper: Music Match Jukebox (full ripping) & Audio Catalyst (when I need to edit a song)
Music CD Burner: Music Match Jukebox
Data CD Burner: Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4
MP3 Player: Music Match & WinAmp
    Firewall: ZoneAlarm

    And some questions:
What is Kazaa Lite? Is there a "regular" Kazaa? Does it have more calories or features? I have Kazaa, but I never paid much attention to whether it is "lite" or not. BTW, my id is Nutrimat@Kazaa, you are welcome to browse my music if you see me online!

What's the difference between Internet Explorer 5.5 and 6? I never bothered to upgrade to 6, but is there a reason I should? I don't create web pages or use Java or anything like that.

Does anyone know of a program that will allow you to create a printable list of tracks and/or Album covers from the song listings? I have the version of MMJB that came with my comp, and you need the "full" version to do this. I'm not going to pay to upgrade just so I can print track listings when I burn cd's, but it would be a nice feature to have.

And finally, the data cd creator I use has a limitation on how big file names can be. Since I name my mp3's with artist, album number, album name, then track name when I rip them, this is very annoying. I'm going to back up my mp3's soon, and I'd like to have the full names. Anyone know of a free program that does this? Provide a link if you can.
