    For Christmas 2 years ago, my beloved wife (bless her soul) got me a book titled "The Encyclopedia of Fantasy", edited by John Clute and John Grant. Does anyone else own this fine piece of critical / reference literature? It's not your average encyclopedia, it's brimming with attitude! I highly recommend it for any lovers of Fantasy.

    Yes - I own and love that book as well - it really is a good reference work when searching for simplified explanations for friends who are not "fantasy inclined" like us...
