Not Wearing White After Labor Day

    Outdated fashon mandates for a "proper" lady or gentleman. White is only to be worn between Memorial day and Labor day.
    I live in Florida, so I pay that hogwash no mind. Wearing dark colors before Halloween is a recipe for overheating.

    Thermodynamics is crazy like that.

    And yeah, there's all kinds of retarded customs. Those poor bastages that have to salute for 21 minutes on Memorial Day comez to mind...

    I never wear white any time of the year. Seems a silly outdated custom though, much like not being able to buy alcohol on sundays.

    Does anyone remember a movie called "Serial Mom" Or something like that?
    It was about a woman who started killing people for reasons like her daughter disliking a teacher... In the end, she kills a woman who wore white shoes, and says something along the lines of "Didn't your mother tell you to not to wear white shoes this time of year?"
    I've always wondered about that... Now I know.
