NPC changed over BG1?

    I have notice that some NPC change from BG1 (beside the portrait and Color)

    Minsc in BG1
    Str 18/93
    Dex 15
    Con 15
    Int 8
    Wis 6
    cha 9
    and he is Neutral Good

    in BG2 his Con and Dex get to 16 and he is Chaotic Good

    Another exemple:

    Jaheira in BG1

    Str 15
    Dex 14
    Con 17
    Int 10
    Wis 14
    Cha 15

    and in BG2
    her dex is now 17?

    I wonder why some NPC get better stats for BG2 How could they change since it's almost after the fight with Sarevok...

    Minsc probably went Chaotic Good after he saw "his witch" killed "before his eyes".

    Jaheira is a much better frontline fighter in BG2 with the 3 extra AC.

    Viconia and Edwin have also better stats in BG2 than in BG1.

    Viconia's stats in BG1
    Str 10
    Dex 19
    Con 8
    Int 16
    Wis 15
    Cha 14

    and in BG2 she has Wisdom 18 to make her better cleric.

    And Edwin's stats...
    Str 9
    Dex 10
    Con 16
    Int 18
    Wis 9
    Cha 10

    In BG2 he has Strength and Wisdom 10. Wisdom 10 gives no penalty to lore and he would be too weak with Str 9.

    [​IMG] Jaheira was very much improved in BG2 - her additional armor class points as well as the availability of weapons was greatly beneficial.

    In BG1, there were no weapons of note for her to use besides a quarter staff. Without a shield and a high armor class - she was a worthless fighter.

    On another note, Minsc's intelligence is way too high! Honestly folks, does he deserve a 9?

    but seeming as it doesn't apply to BG2 - perhaps he acts dumb :shake:

    he isn't stupid he his just "insane" that why he got a wisdom of 6 he's not stupid but insane... anyway in BG1 I remember Jaheira had the same club I bought in Friendly arm in when I beat Sarevok...
