    [​IMG] What do you guys think of NSBM? (National Socialist Black Metal). For those of you who doesn't know what it is, read about it here: www.nsbm.org (@any moderators: Feel free to remove the link if you think it to be offensive/against the rules in any way).

    I think it's the worst pile of bull, I ever heard. I don't see the connection between the nordic mindset/mythology and inheritance that is required to make Black Metal (Yes, I believe only scandinavians can make GOOD BM) and nazism. I just don't get it.

    Besides, I think nazism is a very repulsive ideology.

    Does Burzum count as NSBM? I like the music and lyrics of Burzum, but I never did like Varg's personal opinions as I do not agree with racism.

    I think Irelands 'Primordial' make good black metal, even if it is not 'true' BM. Irish mythology suits the style very well and the folk influences make it stand apart. But yes 9/10, Scandinavian BM is better.

    Yeah, you could say that Burzum is the "founder" of NSBM. I don't listen to it, though people tell me that I should all t he time.

    The lyrics are nothing to do with National Socialism, more Lord of the Rings and Eastern mythology, but his own personal opinions are a different matter... By all means listen to and enjoy Burzum.
