Neverwinter Nights has been designed specifically for the online, multiplayer environment and the latest 3D technology. NWN allows you to experience all the magic of pen-and-paper Dungeon-Mastering on your home computer!

Using NWN's powerful and user-friendly Neverwinter Toolset, you can create and populate entire new modular worlds and stories for others to adventure in. As an all-powerful Dungeon Master (DM), NWN even allows you to alter the plot, possess characters, and manage combat from behind the scenes, all in real-time.

The GeForce3 nfiniteFX engine is used to intensify the ambiance of the Bioware Aurora Engine in Neverwinter Nights. The programmable effects enabled by the nfiniteFX engine will help to enhance the engrossing nature of the storyline and the overall gaming experience.

I wanted to comment about that bit above, but come to think of it, there's not much I could say about it. It's all true.

Check out the three exclusive screenshots here.
All I could say was: WOW!
Even though you will not be able to look at your characters from that angle in the actual game (the camera view was shifted for those shots), it still gives you a pretty good idea what Aurora is capable of.
