Odd bug with Flirt Pack....

    So I've got Flirt Pack installed, along with a bunch of other mods, and for some reason, Aerie initiates dialog every 2-3 seconds if she's within sight of my PC while I'm in the Bridge District. I've had to use CTRYL J to get her far enough away to move about the district.

    I've tried every option in the flirt, I've tried jumping areas, I've reloaded...I've basically tried everything I can think of short of kicking her out of the party, which, IIRC will kill the romance. All mods are the latest releases as of 2-3 weeks ago.

    Has anyone ever seen this bug before?

    [​IMG] Won't kill romance until three in game days have passed. Is it just flirts initiating only every three seconds or other dialogues that she initiates?

    It's only the flirts...as if *I* was the one who initiated the conversation... It stopped for a few minutes after we went to see Quale...but after a few more visited areas, it started up again. Now, it’s every outdoor area in Athkatla. :bang:

    Very annoying.

    [​IMG] What other mods do you have? If the game is behaving as if you're initiating dialogue with a party member it could be something else triggering it. But as most NPCs have nothing to say it would probably be unnoticable except for slight lagging.

    When you visited Quayle was it to pick up the quest for Raelis Shai? It may be Aerie trying to bump the quest with you but the flirts overriding it somehow :bad: Not entirely sure it CAN do that, but may be an option.

    if you put the Tweak Pack first, you might have set up a couple of minor difficulties. General rule of thumb is Fixpack first, then mods, then Tweakpack - those multiromance edits might be the trouble. I'd reorder with Tweaks close to the end (certainly after any NPC mods) and UB closer to the start of the order. Info on the Romance tweak:

    I backed up my BG2 folder and then reinstalled Flirt Packs. Seems to have fixed the problem. :D However since it had to reinstall everything in RE and UB in the process, I'm a little wary... :bad:

    I have started getting the exact same problem now all of a sudden. Not just in the Bridge District, but it started when I entered Athkatla again from Umar Hills, in the Gate District. Remembered reading this thread, so I immidiately went to the Circus to speak with Quayle afterwords, and in my case aswell, this seems to have solved it so far.     Again, all the newest versions. I don't even have the Romance Cheats from the Tweak Pack installed. Is it possible that this is some sort of recurring glitch or somesuch? I'm not savvy enough to recognize such things :/

    This actually seems to be what's happening. As expected, the flirt-talk started again nearly immidiately as I finished the Planar Sphere and returned outside, just as last time. So I went to talk to Raelis Shai in the Bridge District, and as soon as I entered the Inn, the flirt-talks immidiately stopped. After speaking with Raelis, they have also stopped appearing outdoors.

    Is this something that should be mentioned to the authors of the flirtpack perchance? As far as I'm aware, I don't have anything installed that should intervene with it atleast. Haven't reinstalled the flirtpack, I'll instead try to keep going as is, and see if it eventually happens again at some point. I am correct in remembering that Aerie has no other quests linked to her that she would bug me about?
