    [​IMG] I'm in Chapter Four, in the drider caves, and weird text keeps showing up in the message bar. Example: Winnowill- Sage Closes Fan. Is this a bug? :confused:
    Oh, and I can't download anything. The computer IWD2 is on has no Internet. And no floppy drive.

    one of your characters is using Ryomaru's Harmless Staff (from the monastery).

    If you check the description of this item you'll see it can inflict several types of additional damage, each with its own title such as 'sage closes fan', 'bothersome child' and so on :D

    I also believe there is another weapon you can find that puts text up on the screen :p

    I don't know if you can find it only on HoW but it's from IWD1 originally... damn, I can't remember how to spell it :wail: Cynasism? bleugh...

    A floppy is not really needed. It's only 1.44 MB anyway. I far practically always use a hard disk in that role.
