I am off to Vegas for a week. Part fun, part business trip. My friend is getting married on Sunday. I'm also going to to be doing some scouting in the Mojave Desert for an eco trip I am working on for an Adventure Tour Company here in San Diego (you're all invited when we get it up and going). I'm going to Death Valley on the way back too!
In my abscence, I am handing the torch of creating new threads on a daily basis to Aikanaro and Arabwel, if they want the job! I may be checking on here once or twice, but till then.

Okay, quickly! Everybody help! I've got some superglue. Let's turn Elios' room entirely upside down (ie glue his furniture to the celing) and see if he notices when he comes back!

I think we should hatch a big, elaborate scheme to pretend the boards are really the Official Message Boards for the Sewing Club. We can all talk about our stitches, and the lovely quilt we did today, and see how long it takes to confuse him! Or, we could just glue his room, that works to.

Well, Aikanaro, I just won't pay you.
Vegas was really cool, of course, I didn't win any money. :(
The desert though, now that was awesome. Found some pottery out there. But since it was in federal preserve, I couldn't collect anything. But I did get some officials from the forest service back there. They didn't know this site was there!
I'm also going to have an opportunity to participate in a desert tortoise study in March. I could be gone for two months on the study. But it would be so worth it. Plus, it would give me some great experience too!
