[IMG] Sorry if I post this in this site or if is not the correct forum, but this is the only place where I found all the answers to my issues.
Well, it is simple, I made a Word document and I protected with a password (I had a brother with to much curiosity)and since I haven't opened it for a long time, I forgot the password,is there anyway to open the document? I searched a .pwl (or something like that) file in the WIndows directory where is supposed to be the password but all I found was files with this ?===I(/% font that I don't know what it means. PLease, if any one knows how to hack the password I will thank him/her all my life.

Is it vital info or something? Because you can solve some of the document by shift+right clicking it, then open it in Notepad...

It is vital, so, how's that? I can't open the document so I do that by clicking in the file?
Thank you anyway for the help.

To try Daephon's suggestion you can use the file-open menu inside word or you can find the file either using explore or one of the my documents/my computer options. You then right click on the file, select open with and choose a program to try to open the file with.

Notepad is probably your best bet but be prepared to sort through lots of gibberish to try to find your text.

    Edit:

    Or you could try

Ok, thank you, I will try that. By the way, the link reports broken: Unautorized service, it says.

That's strange, the link works for me. You could try copying it to your address bar or just go to bykeyword.com and look under A for Accent and then select either Accent Office Password Recovery or Accent Word Password Recovery.
