old question regarding HLA levels

    im sorry for posting this old question again, but i cant seem to find the question in the archives. Anyways, do HLAs come in at the 3 mill experience mark? Lets say that if you have a multiclass fighter-druid, when will you get the druid HLAs: when fighter and druid experience totals 3 million, OR when the druid reaches level 15? Im asking this to determine if i should dual- or multi- a fighter and druid.

    For multi-class characters, you'll start getting HLAs at 3 million XP total, not when it's 3 million in one class. I believe the same applies for dual-class; I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm mistaken.

    Multi-class gets HLA's from both classes when they reach 1.5 million in each - or 3 million total.

    For dual-classed characters, they only get HLA's when their second class exceed 3 million XP's. So your first class doesn't count toward the 3 million total. You cannot get HLA's from your first class unless you hit the 3 million XP mark in your first class, and then dual over to a second class, which no one does, because the games pretty much over by the time you get your old skills back.
