    Find someone who wants to play online with you and have them start a multiplayer game, or start one yourself. I would be more than happy to oblige, but I'm at school --No BG2 here :( -- plus my CD-ROM drive is in the badly injured, near death zone.

    BG2 comes with Mplayer, but I've never used it myself. Try it for yourself.

    Also you can download Gamespy-usually about 15 people on at a time-not too hard to find a group of people

    here's what i do: go to www.mplayer.com
    go to gamers tab then click on BG2, it will ask if you have software and/or account choose software and account it will download the relavent stuff and you then just fill in your details and after that when you click on BG2 lobby it will ask for your password and send you to the chatroom from there you can enter a game with the people in your chosen room, if you get confused ask someone there...hope this helps...beware though, there may be some immature teenagers about ;)
