    Not sure if I should post this here, but here goes....

    Hey. I'm a first time Forum gamer. I've done a little chatroom stuff and have been table-top RPing for about two years now. My previous online roleplaying spot went down the crapper (not my fault, honest!) so now I'm hoping to find a better home here. My friend told me a little about Forum RPing, but mostly I'm green on the subject. It would be great if someone could initiate me into a storyline.

    Its quite easy, you simply post what you want your character to do and the DM tells you what happens. Or in the case of freeform you make that up yourself. Have a look at some of the games already been played

    Thanks for the info. So, I should ask permission of the DM before starting in their game, of course, but what about the freeform stuff? Is that like a DM-less no-man's-land?

    I'd like to apologize. All the questions I've posted so far have been stupid newbie questions that I could've really had answered had I read the first Forum post by Taluntain. I'll do my best to refrain from foolish posts in the future. Thanks.
