So I do not have a real thief in my party (Iomen is my trap detecter). I've got my Sorcerer plus NPCs for Fighter/Cleric, Fighter/Druid, Paladin, Thief/Mage (Iomen), and Fighter (Sarev).

But I miss the old days with Yoshi setting traps for big battles.

Knowing I won't see his new fighter abilities for most of the game if I do this, what do people think about dual-classing Sarev. to a thief?

Nooooooo. Sarevok's a kickass fighter already!! Besides, you don't really need a thief. I managed with just imoen. If you really want a thief you can get jan, but keep sarevok as he is!!

I personally feel it's kind of a waste to dual at such high levels, especially with a tank such as Sarevok. Naturally, with such suped up stats (a little ridiculous I might add), he's just begging to be dualed. But dualing him at level 18 is a bit much as you'll miss out on so much of his jacked up abilities as a fighter, and he'll be a casuality often I'm sure as he gains those early levels. It's worth trying, but I wouldn't bother myself.

Edit: Hey that's kinda freaky! Anybody got a bone to pick with me?!? *ducks as tomatoes fly his way*

I personally liked Imoen far better as a thief, so in disgust at her dual-class... I made her a thief again. I did realize why they dualed her... check the screenshot of the week... I took it.... 5 20d6 spike traps, plus the exploding trap and 2 regulars takes down ANYTHING!
