Has anyone here read some of his stuff? His books are great! I refer to the books "Ender's Game", "Ender's Shadow", "Shadow of the Hegemon" and "Shadow Puppets". (They should be read in that order.) BTW, Ender's Game is my favorite book of all time. I've read it 59 times. :D Just let me know.

I'll agree that his books are great. I've read most of them numerous time, and they easily rank among my favorite science fiction novels...up there with Dune, actually.

Card's books are pretty nice, although I'm not exactly a huge fan of them, but they are pretty good and are better than your average SF/Fantasy book about adventure and fighting and whatnot.

"Ender's game" originally continued with "Speaker of the dead", "Xenocide" and "Children of the mind". If you want to follow Ender that is. The other books (mentioned in the first post) was written later but take place right after the first one.

He has written other series as well.
"Homecoming" (5 books but I haven't read any yet)
and a serie about Alvin Maker which I'm sorry to say I haven't read either.

He also wrote "The Abyss" after the movie with the same name. And a book called "Enchantment" which was ok.

[IMG] Apart from those aready mentioned "Wyrms" and "Worthing Saga" are very good. Wyrms is pure epic fantasy set in a SF setting. The Worthing Saga (and the stories of Capitol) are among the first things he has written, and are consequently somewhat lacking in precise structuring of the narrative, but very good nonetheless.

Of his other books Ender's game, Speaker for the Dead and Ender's Shadow are probably the best although I find that Abyss was surprisingly good (considering).

For Slith and others who have read Shadow Puppets: how did you like it?

I've read Homecoming (five books) and The Tales of Alvin Maker (five books), and they are great.
I especially like Alvin series, which is really good. I'm not sure but i think that there are seven books in Alvin serie now?

And i liked Ender too of course, but i got my hands on first and second book only.
