Can anyone tell me if Otilukes Resilient Sphere has been changed in BG2 to prevent fist damage getting through?
In a moment of amusing cheese I used it to get rid of the demon knight in the entrance of Durlags tower, (To get the helm of opposite alignment)
I don't think you get a saving throw against it, and combined with a Monk it could be an awesome combo if it still works in BG2.

I would think it would be. Most bugs/cheesy exploits from SoA like planting a million traps at a Lich's spawn, and abusing Wizard Eye for a decoy like no tomorrow etc etc have been nerfed for ToB. So I would imagine that the same has been done for Otiluke's Resilient Sphere.

But...since that spell is relatively obscure, in the sense you are asking, wouldn't it be best to test it yourself?

Also...shouldn't this be in the ToB forum?

His question does not involve anything from TOB, as far as I can tell. He is asking if it changed from BG1 to BG2.

Well it says edited by Tal, so I assume it had ToB content that needed to be removed.

Now, to be on topic: sorry, I can't answer your question.

[IMG] Just for the record, mods often fix spelling in topic titles for better search results accuracy. If the original post had contained any ToB material, it'd be moved to the ToB forum. So please don't make such assumptions. Also, if anything is actually removed from the post, we leave a note in it to that effect.
