[IMG] Out of all the boss fights,(firkragg, bhodi, torgal, and the shadow king for example) which do think, for any reason is the absolute best? ex. Amount of monsters, toughness, race of boss, most magic involved, ect. I like battling irenicos in spellhold.

    [IMG] Toughness

The only real (consistantly) tough fight for me was Kangaxx the Demi-Lich.

Or the beholder caves when I don't take the cloak of mirroring.

But once, the cambean (sp) Prison Warden at the end of the planar prison killed every thrall and was just nigh on invinsible, he wouldnt stop. Unfortunatly it was some bug cause he was a pushover next time.

My favorite fight, for sheer fun was in Hell, (form the planar sphear) against the 2 deamons, was quite long and hard and alot of fun.

I never found extreme difficulty in beating any of the bosses in the game but, for some strange reason, the cambion on the Planar Prison keeps crushing my party over and over. Each game takes me a bunch of reloads to kill him

Firkraag...the only one that required strategy and thought. (On my team, JAN JANSEN actually was the one to slay him, although my character was a cavalier) I rest of the game was a breeze and sadly, ridiculously easy.

If Firkraag, then logically the other dragons, which are essentially the same fight over again, should present the same problem.
You might have had the Firkraag fight at a low level and the other dragons at a higher making the fights easier, but they are really roughly the same difficulty and if you have a strategy that works against one it will work against every dragon in SoA.

The Twisted Rune battle is like a high level barfight. :) I like it though. I wish it had been part of a quest.

There aren't that many good "boss" fights IMO. The dragons, Kangaxx and Twisted Rune are all avoidable so I don't like to count them.

Let's look at the boss fights in the class quests.
Druid - Enjoyable idea, but the fight is a push-over.
Cleric - Not a fight thanks to the plot item.
Mage - The "boss fight" is in the middle of the quest here and I quite like this fight.
Fighter - Beef vs beef. Nice boss, but nothing remarkable.
Paladin - Very nice if the protagonist is a paladin. :)
Ranger - The boss battle is not with the dragon. This makes the boss look like a wimp in comparison.
Bard - Quite tough and enjoyable battle. One of the best.
Thief - Run of the mill battle that could have been enjoyable at a lower level, but since you have to beat a mage and his two golems to get this far the boss battle becomes an anti-climax.

Of the other boss fights I like the final Bohdi battle. Nice to see the allies helping out and packs of vamps aren't bad. :D
Fights with a party of enemy adventurers are probably my favorite battles but none of the boss fights were set up like that.

  9. The slayer. In the battle of the abbys Irenicus summon's four balor's and becomes the slayer.Took me some timeto figure out that irenicus as the slayer is weak against fire.

Since the class bosses were already posted, I thought I'd add my opinion on the plot bosses.

Bhodi in chapter 3: Fairly tough, has high MR and hits for quite a lot. With upgraded Bhodi mod, next to impossible.
Harlot Queen in Brynnlaw (forget her name): Pathetically easy.
Irenicus in Spellhold: My favorite fight in the game, isn't very hard though, inmates can win it for you.
Baalor in Underdark: Tough, unless you are prepared.
Demon Lord in Underdark (evil path): Fight is almost unwinnable, unless your gear is far above your level.
Adalon (evil path): Never fought her, but doubt it's harder than any other dragon.
Bhodi (final): Easiest boss fight in the game
Irenicus in Elf City: Not too hard, but fun
    Slayer: Easy, sort of fun.

Only fight that poses any challenge for me is Kangaxx, when I don't have either Minsc or Korgan with me.

Definitely Thaxll'ssilya and Firkraag. I found Firkraag harder because he used his breath weapon, Thax didn't, but they were great fun, and killed by the least likely characters. Thax was slain by Haer'Dalis with magic missile, and Firkraag was slain by my PC, a swashbuckler, and, while he was dual-wielding Daystar and Dragonslayer, he killed Firkraag with Daystar.
