Overlords: Storyline (Fantasy)

This is part of the storyline for an RPG game i'm thinking of making. Tell me what you think and i'll decide whether to put the rest on.

In the dark of night they came without warning. Overlords are monstrous, demonic beings of great power. No two Overlords look alike but they all have the same goal, to wipeout or enslave the human race. They are all huge and have the power to zombifie dead humans and make them their slaves. The only way to kill a zombie is to shred or blast it to peices. If ripped in half the torso would grapple you while the legs kick you. One Overlord appeared in each military installment and mall in the world and by sunrise only about 1000 humans were left.

The ones that had escaped from the malls and military installments explained everything. They decided to form teams to destroy the Overlords. These survivors were called The Renegades.

To better fight the zombies The Renegades discovered they could transform into a mutant form depending on their personalities and likes using the powerful energies the arrival of the Overlords released. Only the ones who had escaped from the Overlords could do this because they had been exposed to the energy.

Agreed with the three posts above, to some extent. But please, do work on your writing. Chances are it could be structured better.

 

C'Jakob, you say that to everyone brave enough to send a story in.

 

The idea is to send a bit of critsism (sp?) in, it can help you improve. C'Jacobs only trying to help.

 

Heh. Just the ones that could use work grammatically. I never touched Morningstar's story.

 

Overlords(continued)

The Renegades quickly found that you just had to stay in an Overlord base long enough to gain this ability.

The Renegades were split into groups of 10 with one Mutant leader. Thus the Overlord war began. Luckily when an Overlord is slain all of it's zombies return to normal(they're still zombies but have their own free will) and usually they join the squad that killed the Overlord. Zombies can not become Mutants. This has bolstered the Renegade's forces. So far only 10 Overlords have been killed and there are over 1000 of them.

P.S. If anyone's interested say so and i'll post the types of Mutants i've created so far.

Here are the Mutants:

WereBlade

As a WereBlade the person can grow blades at "strategic" points on his/her body such as the wrist and knuckles at will. It is more popular for them to just grow hand blades, curving blades 1-3 ft long with one appearing on the back of each hand. The WereBlades can retract these blades and grow them again in an instant(or any blades for that matter). The WereBlade's reflexes, speed,sight and agility are enhanced. Another result is the WereBlade's skin turns grey and recieve increased stamina while they are transformed but decreased strength.


Prowler

As a Prowler their speed is increased 10 fold as well as their reflexes. Their hearing, smelling and sight are also enhanced. Prowlers can grow retractable foot-long claws from each knuckle. Prowlers are excellent hunters.


Bruiser

As a Bruiser their strength is increased 10 fold so that they can match the strength of an Overlord and tear apart a zombie with their bare hands(not a good idea in your best clothes). They traditionally carry no weapons except maybe a gun or two. They also move slowly.

These are 3 Mutants of 9 i have created, excpect to see the rest soon.(WereBlades rock!)
