I wanted to alter some small items to make them stackable -- TNO ought to be able to carry more in his inventory than a handful of rings. So, I used Near Infinity, changed what I thought were the proper parameters for the items, and exported them to the override folder. But it didn't seem to work -- the items still aren't stackable. Any ideas on what went wrong?

AFAIK, NI saves anything in version 1.0 format. PST uses 1.1 format. Also, you may have forgotten to save the new items into your override folder.

[IMG] I definitely saved the new files in the override (even opened and checked them to make sure). What's the difference between 1.0 and 1.1? I have edited saved PST games with NI before, and have not had a problem. If there is a 1.0/1.1 conflict with regard to items, is there any way around it?

No, NI saves items in the proper format.

    Try saving instead of exporting?

[IMG] Thanks, Platter. Somehow that worked, but I'm still dumbfounded as to why. Oddly, the files I had previously exported and checked listed a maximum stack of 1 when I looked at them again. Somehow NI was not giving me current data on them the first time I checked them. At least it's working now. Thanks again.
