Oversight Problem...

    I tried to install the Oversight mod last night, and it automatically skipped the Tougher Sendai component because "It appears that you do not have ToB installed"...other mods, like Kelsey ToB, and the ToB side of the Item Upgrade installed just fine! :skeptic:

    The tougher Sendai component is the main reason why I get the Oversight mod...but I installed the rest of the mod anyway.

    Any ideas on why this is happening?

    The mod is version 7, and was installed with version 191 of WeiDU (auto-updated from one of the other mods). I have a full installation of SoA, and a minimum installation of ToB. :rolling:

    Maybe minimum installation of ToB causes such a problem. Get a clean, new and FULL install of ToB and try again.

    You have Item upgrade installed, don't you? To make this install you don't need to remove Item upgrade, don't worry. Go into your override directory and cut/paste c2blun.itm somewhere else. You will then be able to install oversight. After installing oversight, make sure you copy c2blun.itm back into your override. If you are curious, this problem is due to a bug in that particular item in the item upgrade mod. Don't worry.......the item will work fine when you copy it back into the override.

    Ok, I just made a clean install of BG2, and I tried to instal Oversight, this time before the Item Upgrade mod, and it still doesn't work. I looked in the overrife folder and there wasn't an item named c2blun.itm. :skeptic:

    Any ideas? :rolling:

    If it won't work with a clean install you probably have a corrupt or incomplete copy of the mod. I'd re-download it and try again.

    Yes sometimes even I got an incomplete and buggy mod when my connection was bad, download and re-try please, you really should play Overisght Sendai on insane!
