    [​IMG] My boyfriend played BG as a paladin, and after hitting the 7th level, he couldn't gain any more experience. Does anyone know why that would be? :confused:
    Is there some kind of experience cap?

    [​IMG] to put it simple... YES, there is an exp-cap implemented in BG.
    This means you can only attain 89,000xp when playing the game. If you want to rise higher, you'll need to buy TotSC, which has an xp-cpa of 161,000 (this would make your paladin level 8).
    And, once you've bought TotSC, you can (free) download DSotSC, an unoffical add-on made by TeamBG. In this add-on, they've implemented all the rules up until level 40 (!!), which allows you to have millions of xp.

    If you like BG, you'll like TotSC, and you'll LOVE DSotSC !

    If the XP cap is indeed level 40 I can see Icewind Dale being put on hold so I can have a laugh in BG with DSOTSC.
    Big bad guy, (SPLAT!), what big bad guy at the end of the game.....
