[IMG] I'm skeptical. One of the requirements for IWD2 I don't meet is the 8x cd rom drive. But looking at the SotW and other screenshots I see nothing to indicate that this game is any worse than ToB as far as for what it demands. And ToB runs just fine on my computer. So from those of you who have played it, do you think that if I can handle ToB, that IWD II shouldn't be a problem or what.

It infuriates me thinking that IWD II may not work on my computer but looks no different than ToB.

Hey Big B, the 8x CD-ROM is NOT a requirement - I have a 4x that is 7!!!! years old and it works just fine. Just make a full install.

And as for other requirements, IWD2 takes even a bit less than ToB.

The only important thing - when you configure your game as you install it, put the slider down a bit and choose performance options that are slightly below of what your real machine is - and it will work just fine.

[IMG] If you wanna make it work with no cd checks at all, just use any progarm that emulates it's presence in system ,make a Bin or any other kind of image of CD2 and voila !!! everything is just fine :) ))))))

That sounds to me like a CD-crack program, which most of us here do not endorse. A full install will work just as well, and it is legal. I strongly suggest that you do not try that method.

[IMG] Don't worry, the only cd's I crack are the ones I drop on the floor.
