I'm sure many players agree with his tip of making sure to save first. This is what makes me  , how can you justify reloading based on failing a measly pick pocket attempt? It's truly a sorry reminder of how deeply entrenched and accepted the reload mentality is in PC games.

Have to add this: If you're afraid of failing a pick pocket attempt, then don't do it! If one of your characters dies irrevocably, that's a good reason to reload. Failed Pick Pocket? I don't think so. You brought it on yourself by unnecessarily tempting fate.

That's partly why I drink Potions of Master Thievery first. Serves as a security blanket when I (rarely) attempt to pickpocket.

Off topic comment: where else would you post something like this that encompasses several games?

When I fail, the solution is simple, kill the guy your pick pocketing! It's a brilliant tactic
