Picking Pockets along the Sword Coast

    This is a two-part question:

    1)Does the armor you're wearing have any effect on shoplifting from stores? I'm playing a bard, and always take off my chainmail, just to be safe.

    2)Is there any guide out there on who are good targets for pickpocketing in BG1?

    The prime target, especially for a bard, is the fat man on the 2nd floor of Feldpost's inn. He has a cloak which will give you +2 to charisma and unlimited Charm Monster spells.

    I don't know about the first, or other major people to pick-pocket.

    1) Good idea. The pickpocketing grays out when you have chainmail (other than Drizzt's) on, so I would think that it would do the same for the steal function in a shop.

    2) Yep. Right here.
