    I tend to think one's view regarding whether side A is fighting dirty and Side B is 'just fighting back' or vice versa tends to be colored by whether the person agrees with Side A or Side B.

    Just scan down spinsanity.org which does a fair job of pointing out some of everyone's problems and you start to see everyone looks equally muddy.

    The article was rather 'holier-than-thouish'.

    The article must have hit a few conservative nerves. But what I found most interesting about the article was Tom Delay's rhetoric, and as someone who lived in his district, I can say that it's pretty accurate. Also, some believe that Goodwater is the driving force behind much of the right wing ideology that is in play today - forty years after his bid for prez and his own demise. But then an editoral such as this brings out the reader's own bias, which is evident by some of the reponses.
