POLL: All female party idea

Now this is probably going to look like some horny kid's dream party, but it actually started out with something I tend to do with my PnP parties: pairing everyone up. My initial idea was:

PC & [some romance mod to be figured out later]
Imoen & Chloe
Minsc & Addenyd

But since Addenyd is completely stalled, I've been looking around for another NPC-NPC romance mod and found Auren Aseph, a female fighter who will romance Nalia. So with two lesbian romances already in the party, I decided, "Hey, why not make it three and combine it with the all-female idea." (I love themes. ) So what I end up with is:

PC & [lesbian romance]
Imoen & Chloe
Nalia & Auren

This makes two fighters, two mages, and enough thief to get me by. What it's really lacking is divine power, so naturally the sixth member would need to be a cleric or druid with a lesbian romance to fit in.

In BG1 I've got:
PC
Imoen
Viconia
Dynaheir
Shar-Teel
??????

The order in this is somewhat important, as my plan is to keep Minsc to have him beat Shar-Teel, then use him as fodder in the basilisk area to get rid of him. ("We only brought one scroll and you had to go and waste it on that piece of XP." ) But I can't quite decide who the sixth member should be (Jaheira springs naturally to mind, but I'm not sure about getting rid of both Khalid and Minsc). And so the poll.

1) Who should my sixth member in BG1 be?
2) What class should my PC be? (must include some divine for in BG2; may include kits in your post)
extra) What lesbian [cleric/druid] romance would you suggest to finish off the BG2 party? (can be mod or Bioware NPC)

1. In BG1 for party balance purposes, Jaheira makes the most sense. She's the closest thing to a tank and her druid spells won't be completely redundant with Viconia's cleric spells.

2. CHARNAME should be a vanilla fighter. Shar-teel can dish it out but no one in that BG1 party can really take a beating, not even Shar-Teel and her 9 CON.

All the romanceable non-mod females in SOA/TOB are healers of some kind, so picking a cleric / druid CHARNAME would be redundant in the long run.

If you absolutely must have some spell casting ability for CHARNAME outside of the Bhaal abilities, pick a hybrid fighter (paladin, ranger) instead of the vanilla fighter. A CHARNAME ranger would be the perfect fit for some mithril chain mail.

 

1. In BG, I'd chose Faldorn. Jaheira would be it, except for Khalid and what would you do about getting Minsc and Dynaheir? It could be done, just very plan-worthy.

2. For BG2, the PC class I picked was R/C. You can be a plain ranger in BG1 and dual to cleric in BG2. Depends on whether you want a human or halfelf.

Extra: As I don't know of many NPC lesbian romance mods (aside from Chloe), I would say use EoU Romance Anybody component and have Jaheira as the PC's love interest.

 

I can see the reasoning, but you're only looking at one tiny part of it. A plain warrior would leave my BG2 party deficient in divine power, which is why I want someone who can provide at least a little support in that area.

No more than having both Viconia and Jaheira in BG1. In fact, there's more need for divine power in BG2 than BG1, so...

Now there's an idea. It combines Killjoy's idea of a plain warrior with consideration for the BG2 part.

Actually, I checked on this on the way home (since Jaheira's is my favorite romance), and her dialogues are hard-coded as "man" where Viconia's has "<PRO_MANWOMAN>" to allow for either. And I won't even go into Aerie having a kid with another woman. It seems the only Bioware NPC that's set up for girl-girl romance is Viccy's.

I'm still open for mod suggestions, though.

 

~snickers~ what? you don't want the divine power to get another woman pregnant without the equipment? Aerie also has a couple points where she would basically call the player a man too. but they are small.

 

Fel there quite a few female NPC that could work for your group in BG1. As for BG2 I am only going to start playing it again after a 3 year hihatis.

Jaheria - She provides additional healing spells and she is a decent Tank in BG1. As far as Khalid is concern you could pick both of these two up right away and let Khalid get killed by the first group of Orgillans you run into.

Alora - You could go straight to BG to pick this gal up who will give you some good thieving skills and will allow you to dual Imoen.

Skie - I know this requires picking up her male counterpart but you could always use the belt of opposite sex on him until you find her.

Brawnen - She can be a Tank given her decent HP as a cleric and the fact she is not limited on her armor selection. Later on when equipped with the GoOP she can be pretty good a dealing damage.

 

Hmmm, this is probably not entirely on topic, but I thought of it, reading the EoU mod: How does BG2 treat someone with the belt of gender changing for romance purposes? As the new gender or the old?

 

I just got a very devious idea. Here's the outline:

BG1 - Imoen I pick up right away (naturally), then I head to the FAI to get Khalid and Jaheira on the advice of my late foster father. We go south as Jaheira insists, but Khalid gets squished by the ogre with the belt fetish (he's always good for an early game sacrifice). Jaheira is attracted to Minsc so we help him, rescuing Dynaheir. But her new love is soon lost to a basilisk's gaze after defeating Shar-Teel. Then we head north to pick up Viconia and the party is complete.

BG2 - Jaheira is reunited with her lost love Minsc in Irenicus's dungeon (how'd he find him?), only to have him cruelly snatched away again when he dies at the hands of [something]. We also meet up with Chloe in the dungeon (she's in the genie's area), but then Imoen is taken when we exit. I rush to pick up Nalia and Auren, then hurry to Spellhold. In the meantime, Jaheira's heart turns toward my PC, only to have her hopes dashed again as I pick Viconia over her. She dies of a broken heart in Spellhold (that [enemy] ripped it right out of her chest!), and my PC takes up the banner "For the fallen!" and duals from Fighter to Druid in honor of the lovelorn Jaheira. Imoen takes her place in the party, and I just go from there.

I call it: Jaheira's Heartbreak What do you think?

 

Felinoid I like the idea.

I have one question though. It seems like you are able to go through BG1 fairly quick. It has taken me a couple of months. Maybe you just spend more time on the computer than I do. I am lucky if I have an hour a day to play.

Your BG1 group is very fighter weak. A fighter/mage with ** in bows will go a long way for you.

Which other NPC you take depends on whether or not you are going to dual Imoen, Shar-Teel, or both (for that matter the PC class may also shift).

That's when you change after starting the game. I was more thinking along the lines of putting the belt on in BG1 and import that character. Does it loose the belt or something (I figured they shouldn't remove something like the belt of gender changing). Oh, and, btw, where can you get the belt in bg2?

 

Nowhere; it's import-only.

And regarding my speed, I'm just very efficient. I know (just about) everything about the games and plan my next moves accordingly. Add to that the extra free time that my efficiency in other areas (school et al.) nets me, and I can blaze through it pretty fast.
