i went with pure fighter. i always enjoy having the pc in the frontlines and putting more than 2 * into a weapon slot

Assassins Rock!!!!!!!!!! well In my opinion anyway...

 

It was difficult for me to answer the poll question, because I usually play a multi-classed character. However, I voted for fighter, because nearly all of the multi-class combinations I play are half-fighter. My favorite multi-class combinations include fighter-thief, fighter-cleric, fighter-mage, and illusionist-cleric. Strangely, the very popular mage-thief multi-class never held much appeal to me.

 

Bards and Thieves a bit ahead currently.

I voted for Fighter for the same reasons as Aldeth. A multi or dual starting off as a fighter can rarely go wrong.

 

Aw, no votes for Cleric. I'd be nicer to my clerics if I was you. Next time you're Held and getting hacked apart, see if your spurned cleric sees fit to free you and heal you or not.

 

I picked Bard, but only because I've recently come have great respect for Blades.

 

Thieves have always been my favorite, they're full of dark mystery and intrigue-especially assassins. Regular theives and Swashbucklers are also fun to role-play because of they're laid back, moral- lacking style
Oh, and Backstab, I mean...come on. What more do you need?

 

Bards, the little helpers in each and every situation. Surprisingly, they are in the lead.

 

Sorcerers. Aside from their power, they fit the description of the "Chaotic Neutral" alignment extremely well, and that's the alignment I love to roleplay above all else. Their spontaneity is the best thing about them.

My second choice would have been Monk - they're wicked, not to mention hideously powerful at higher levels if used properly.

 

Bards! And rangers. But I also love Druids, Thieves, Sorcerers and Mages. Still haven't tried monk yet. I prefer multiclass or dual classes most of the time though.

Why does everyone like Bards so much?

 

Thieves are my favourite fantasy RPG class. But for Baldur's Gate 2 specifically, my favourite class has to be bards due to the blade. There are so many ways you can play him/her, things never get routine. I'll never get bored of playing a blade.

 

Sorcerers all the way!

 

I just recently started playing a game with full guild of thieves; meaning that I created 6 rogue variants, all of which were rogue kits. No multi/dual classing. It was fun while it lasted.

I just have to pick those guys.. Thieves all the way.

 

I lik e Berserkers.5 slots to long sword and 3 slots to two weapon stile.With a little magical assistance,he can kick every dragon's ass in level 15

 

I've played as a monk my last two games, and I think the Monk is by far the best class in the game...especially in the later stages of the game.

 

Sorcerer due to their invincibility at the end of the game. Go Thieves!
