[IMG] Redwall Series? I loved those books! I did read the dutch version, what is the name of that bad rat guy, with the one eye in english? In dutch it was something like:

"Cluny de Gessel" but I'm not sure about the Cluny part.

    Other carracter names:
    Balin (King Arthur)
    Balan (King Arthur)
    Aragorn (LOTR)
    Golum (LOTR)
    Parcival (King Arthur)
    Mephisto (???)
    Asmodeus (Red wall (Dutch!))
    Calvin (Calvin and Hobbes)
    Lidia (???)
Satan (The Holy Bible, satanic Bible)
    Natas (Can't remember the title)
    Saravok (BG Book)
    Viconia (BG Book)
    Alas (???)
    Gandalf (LOTR)
    Saruman (LOTR)
    Eowyn (LOTR)
    Yalda (Bigger than the bible)
Johnie blade (Black Sabbath lyric booklet!)

The one-eyed rat who used his tail as a whip was known as Cluny the Scourge in English.

Just wondering does the word "Scourge" mean anyting? In dutch the word "gessel" is like a synonim (<--That's not the way to spell it, is it?) to "zweep" what means whip.

Scourge is like what you do with a whip. You know the biblical phrase, "scourging at the pillar"? In that case, it means a whipping. Also, scourges can be plagues or hardships.

There is also the word "Scour" which means "to wipe clean" or "burnish to brightness", scourge and scour have the same root.
