Do you like hot or cold weather? I got the idea from the disgustingly cheerful sunny weather we're having lately.

I much prefer cold because it's easier to deal with. You can always put on an extra layer of clothing as the temperature drops, but in the heat there's only so much you can take off! And since I enjoy fresh air, living in continual air conditioning is not my speed. I hate it when simply stepping outside make me drip with sweat. Anything much above 80 F is too hot for me.

So where does Velcro want to retire to? Florida, of course!

I like both hot and cold weather, especially when it's REALLY hot or cold. I can't stand average temperatures.

I prefer summertime over wintertime, but when it gets over 30 degrees, the heat is nasty here in the Netherlands. You'll have a hard time breathing normally.

Rallymama - just be ready for the humidity if you guys end up down here! It makes cold and hot weather equally funky.

As for the poll, I like cold weather the best - football season! :) Of course, being able to swim all the time in the summer is great, too.

I love cold weather, it's fantastic. You can go skiing or make snowball matches, it's really cool.

Rallymama has the right of it -- you can dress up for the cold, but you can only dress down so far -- especially in this day and age of skin cancer!

Cold --- or hot... I think 19 C is hot, and 25 C is too hot, and my average room temperature is 17 C, so...

I like both real cold and real hot weather. I just hate 5/10°, rainy, depressing days.

Here it's cold most of the year, and Vaasa is quite windy. Never seen any pictures from North Pole, with snow flying in the wind and cold sun in the sky? Imagine that.

    Hot

It really depends, although fresh, humid and a bit coolish mornings with a mild breeze blowing probably rule supreme. Preferably gull voices, nice sunrise colours and nice company, although I can do without the last. I so much like prolonged walks when the weather is like that... Well, sunsets can be nearly as exciting too if they have the right colours and sounds.

I like them to the extreme. Average sucks. That's why I hate spring actually.

I don't like hot because of those bloody midgies (they're little mosquito thing that swarm around in hundreds. Little b*stards.)

I'm mostly with Taza on this one....mostly. About 20 degrees is a good temperature, but above 25 in humid England is just too hot. I had a cold shower at about midday on friday and i was sweating before i had even gotten properly dry. That's not good.

But too cold is rubbish too.
