Ok, if you've seen the movie, you'll know that almost every weapon in the movie is being reproduced, namely by United Cutlery. My question is: how many of you will spend the $120-$250 for one of them? I know I will, I have already started to save up the $2000 needed to buy all 10 official reproduction weapons. :rolling:

[IMG] Not enough funding for now. I am saving to get Sting and his Scabbard, also I have seen The Necklace and Fellowship Broach for sale they look very nice. But Sting comes first. :)

I could buy them, but I am not a hobbit, no Istari, nor a witchking or Numenorian heir, so it wouldn't be right for me to wield those blades. :)

[IMG] Yeah, must be a bummer, not all of us can live with that kind of blood in our veins. Or at least not you. :D

Maybe if you have a kid with a Lady that does, you can watch him/her, the kid, wield it and live vicariously through He/She. Or have alot and stage mock battles. :D

Sting would make a nice dagger, for those Non-Hobbits/Halflings. :)

Oh yeah, I am saving up as we speak - but I can't decide what I want to order - Narsil (which is perpetually out of stock) or Glamdring!

    Decisions, decisions.

They are well nice, but i'm not willing to part with money for them. It's like the ring, i've seen in shops for £250. Far too much for a novelty.
I don't know which sword it is, but there's a massive two handed broad-sword with a golden skull near the hilt. I'd love that but it is about as big as me (i'm just under 6 foot).

I have better use for my money than spending it on something useless to take more space out of my house for no reasonable purpose at all. But hey, people are different.

Intentioner: The sword you're talking about can't be a LotR sword, I know of no golden skulled sword.

    Hmmm ... good question.

Someone got a link to a page that displays them? (yes, I'm lazy!!! )

Seriously, my wife would probably kill me right now if I came home with the Sword that was broken but now is reforged, re-cast, and re-sold for a stiff profit!

But ... we'll soon be moving to a new house (Lord Willing) where I'll have a personal office ... that would be a great place for a few quality weapons. :good:

It was definitely in the lotr display, right in the very centre, like the focal point of the display. Maybe if anyone has a link to pics of all 10 swords i can see if it's there.

[Hmm, just looked on united cutlery website and it's not on there. I know they had some other swords on display in the shop i went to, perhaps it was from something else. Perhaps conan the barbarian, as my mate did comment on a conan the barbarian sword]

[Found it. It turned out to be called The Terminator. How a sword of nearly 5 feet long has anything to do with the terminator, beats me. So, it was nothing to do with LOTR either. Sorry]

[IMG] Too bad, it sure is fun. :D

If you believe that you are not living in an Illusion then you have already been fooled. :(

Besides the actual World, what would you call this? The Internet, Role-Playing, Sorcerer's Place, School, Work the list could go on and on and on. :shake:

I also like those Daggers that Legolas used in LotR II: TTT :D

I'll most likely buy three of them-- one for me, one for each of my brothers. I'm not sure what I'll get for me or for my one brother, but my youngest one will definitely want anything that was Legolas'.

    WANT!

Oh yeah, I want those sharp, pinty things... Ph, how I want them!

But right now, I don't have the money. So I am starting to save money for them. My so-called "income" and the fact that the place in which I live allows no sharp objects are a real bummer.... Oh how I wish that I will inherit my very old aunt who once won a lottery...

I want those swords, so that I can whack things like offensive maypoles. And so that I can show off at all RopeCons to come...

(A person obsessed with sharp and pointy objects)

If I would buy one of those weapons it would be gimli's axe. (I will probably BTW)

I wish legolas' bow was for sale now that would be great!

I would really like to buy Glamdring, but I can't afford it, and my mother would probably kill me! :(
