Minsc can be used in many different ways. How do you customize Minsc?

I always use Minsc as the toughest front-line warrior. Since the poll did not contain the sword&shield style as a choice, I had to choose Two-Handed Weapon. Actually, I play with Minsc in two-handed quite often (this depends on the circumstances of the battle), but usually, he has a sword and a 1-handed weapon.

 

Two-Handed Weapon, Tank on Armour. Minsc is minsc, I guess.
Impractical as that may be, un-powergamer-like as that may seem, I'm as averse to Minsc+Two-Weapon+Sneaking as giving Korgan Grandmastery in Darts.

 

But Minsc can do it! He's got his Stealth skill, and it's pretty good!

Additional question (Baronius touched upon this): If you choose "Two Weapon Fighting," what two weapons do you aim for?

BTW, I didn't include Sword and Shield because, frankly, I hadn't even thought of it. He doesn't start with much of an inclination trowards this style, but I should have included it in this poll nevertheless.

 

The itty bitty goblin shuffled uncomfortably as he felt a great and terrible presence in the cavern. He glanced from side to side, his eyes darting frantically from shadow to shadow.... then he heard his inevitable doom...."SWORDS NOT WORDS!!"

Minsc in shadows - could be fun.

 

Intriguing, but that's not what I meant.
It's just that I simply can't imagine a dual-wielding Minsc. (Well, maybe I can, and I have on occasion, but it doesn't look right)

I also prefer heavier armour compared to light since in my games all my Rings of Invisibility usually end up on my frontline fighters, which generally includes Minsc.

Now that you mention it, one of my favorite dualed weapons (at early levels, at least) is a dagger.
Minsc: "Jump on my sword while you can, evil. 'I' won't be as gentle!"

In terms of weapons I tend to use both both I guess I use two handed swords a little more than I do dual wielding. When I dual wield him it is generally maces and sometimes the flail of ages.

I always have him in heavy armour. I will normally use a thief to skulk. When I do use Minsc to scout I generally just have him temporarily take his heavy armour off while he scouts and then put it back on again.

 

It depends on who else I have in my group.
If I have Keldron, Minsc duals Axes and Maces.
If I have Korgan, Minsc hefts TwoHanded Swords.
When I took both with my Fighter/Thief, Minsc spent quality time with Hendak.

Like JSBB I have Minsc remove his full plate if I need him to scout, but thats not often.
