    [IMG] The Star Wars saga boasts some awesome sound effects. Ben Burtt is the man. Let's figure out which ones are our favorites though.

    Thanks ... just mentioning the Ewoks got that stupid song in my head. Do you know that they actually played that on the radio way back when? (jo jo, esok e go e no wah) (I'm guessing Big B actually knows the real words/spelling to that song ... if you do, please keep it to yourself.)

    Gotta love R2! How can you put emotion into beeps? Genius!

    [IMG] I always like the tie fighter fly-by!!! It has a distinctive sound...Just like the Stuka Dive-Bomber from WWII - I think that's why Lucas gave it a special sound like that.

    Nub Nub! ;) :p :lol:

    I hate to say this, but both Chewie and R2-D2 annoy the hell out of me! Their sounds are just so cretinous and stupid! :mad:

    Oh, and you forgot the blue bouncy balls that the Gungans have. They make cool noises when they bounce. I like the voices made by the Trade Federation droids as well...

    I happen to be a wookie fan - Chewie's hearty "yawp" always does it for me!

    [IMG] Well I love them all but my top three are:

    TIE Flyby
    Lightsabers
    Canon fire on Gungan energy shield

    The sounds are off the hook.

    And speaking of Chewbacca, Peter Mayhew, the guy who IS Chewbacca, is coming to Raleigh next weekend for the premiere release of AOTC on IMAX! Woohooo! I'm going to meet someone from Star Wars. :tie:

    <Chewie laugh>

    Laugh it up fuzzball! You didn't see the princess and I in the south chamber, where she expressed her true feelings for me...

    :grin:
