    [​IMG] I have been thinking about a book i may write. In this book I plane to include the name Icewind as a place in the book. i would like to know what peoples thoughts are about this, you can simply answer the main poll or better yet leave a reply.

    There has been one such topic recently and answers have been provided.

    I will repeat what I said once more: while it doesn't have to be plagiarism in the legal sense, it's always lame to copy people's ideas and always better to come up with your own.

    Also, there is no sense whatsoever for a place to be named "Icewind", which shows that you simply like the name and want to use it, and in conjunction with the fact that the name was invented by someone else, makes it look like plagiarism, whether legally punishable or not.
