I thought of this poll in the last RBP, so what is your computer screen resolution? Feel free to comment. And I would like to say on a personal note that anything below 1280 X 1024 is pretty barbaric in 2007 :p

    1024x768 at work, 1280 X 1024 at home.

I play all my games at 1024x768 or lower, though. ;)

    1280 x 1024 on one monitor and 1024 x 768 on the other at work. 1024 x 768 at home.

1600x1200. I do feel I should mention that this resolution is, in fact, not 16:9 (widescreen ratio), as the poll seems to suggest.

1024x768. Any bigger and the icons are too small for my liking. Not to mention that most wallpapers come in 800x600 or 1024x768. :p

@ Henkie; Well my mistake, don't know if I can modify it though. And I forgot I'm 1440 X 900, and that is widescreen :p

I use 1024x768 on my laptop's 15" screen and 1280x1024 on my secondary monitor's 19" screen. Anything higher than 1024x768, and the icons and fonts get too small for my poor vision. :bad: :rolling:

1680 x 1050, which is also widescreen. Love the high res, but it's not too bad cause I have a 22" monitor so icons are not too small. And yes, I do play computer games at this res when they allow :D

At 1280x1024 (on a 19" LCD screen) I just fail to be barbaric. :p

I have two older computers with smaller screens (17" LCD and 19" CRT) and both are set to 1152X864. I could set them higher but since I'm short-sighted I need a lower resolution.

1024x768 - I like being able to actually read the labels of my desktop icons. :p

So does this mean barbarians all have poor vision? ;)

    Apparently yes
I called it barbaric 'cause the icons are so goddamn huge at 1024 X 768 and lower.

jaded empath, there are options to resize those icons, you know. I've had to it myself, by default they really are too small.

    1024 * 768...

Still on an old 17" CRT... when this one dies, if money allows I'm getting myself an iMac - if it doesen't, I'm getting a widescreen LCD.
