Didn't vote because there is no "what's Wheel of Time?" option.

ahahahaha, making the mod would be stupid because, like stated in the drizzt topics...they have their own storyline, AND the're NO WHERE CLOSE to baldurs gate, or icewind dale, or anything like that.

Wheel of time is a book series created by Robert Jordan.
As far as I know it has no link at all to BG or FR
Correct me if I'm wrong dragoon but isnt there a DragonLance mod in the making for BG2.
If so how does that work?

and isnt the storyline a completly different one to BG and FR?

the dragonlance mod is a complete modding of SoA, meaning that its a completely new game using the infinity engine. they change the storyline, NPC's, everything...if someone wanted to go through the trouble of making a wheel of time mod, they would have to do it the same way the're doing dragonlance...completely change the game

ok then, I'm guessing that this would take so much work to complete then.

In the case of Dragon Lance I'd think the modder are only doing a project this big for their own enjoyment cause I sure as hell can't imagine why anyone would go to all that trouble because a few people from the other side of the world asked you to.

    No.

The Wheel of Time world and abilities are so different from D&D it would be too big a job for it to be done under the infinity engine.

I have played the WoT module for NWN and it was pretty good.

There's also a respectable way for DragonLance elements to enter the game - via the Planar Sphere. IIRC, the Solamnic Knights are part of DragonLance lore.

Please keep the topic on track with Wheel of Time, and not Dragon lance.
